Learn how to make block prints with the linocut technique. Join me for a two day workshop in block printing! Classes begin at 12pm and end at 3pm on both Saturday December 3rd and Sunday December 4th. On day one you will learn how to plan your artwork, transfer your drawing, and use the carving tools. On day two you will finish your carving, roll it with ink, and create your final pressed prints! It will be a blast and you will have a finished block to make as many future prints/cards as you like! Please come to class with some ideas for holiday cards you’d like to make. If you have photos or images you like to work from bring them! Pinecones, leaves, poinsettias, oranges, gingerbread cookies, etc. are also great props to bring if you want to use actual holiday items for reference! I’ll bring a few things to share myself if you don’t have any ideas yourself, so don’t fear! Can’t wait to carve with you! Click HERE to reserve your spot!
